We want to share Yoga as a life-enhancing practice and a way of raising well-being, with as many people as possible. In order to encourage you to study and practice Yoga on a regular basis we keep the prices as low as possible.
Friendly classes are held in the Centre at the times indicated on our weekly timetable. All our teachers have trained with the validating Body for the UK, the British Wheel of Yoga. The wonderful benefits of Yoga
As babies we were all born Yogis, able to pull our toes up by our ears while laughing about it. With time and perhaps some injuries, stress began to show in different parts of our body; in short, we lost our inner balance. The ancient Yogis discovered the secret of restoring that balance, which is the union of body, mind and spirit, by providing us with ‘tools’ to cope with the challenges of daily life. Yoga complements medical science and therapy by helping to build up our self-healing energy. Everyone can practise yoga regardless of age, sex or ability, for a healthier, more fulfilled life. No special clothes or equipment are needed, just a quiet space. No matter how ‘stiff’ you feel when you first start, once you begin practising, you can only feel and become better!
